Hello,I felt like creating this thread to bring up some memories and chat a little about experiences.

So,do you still remember your first account?

I am still playing it..Ares Moonlight.It has been there for over 19 months and I still love it.It has always been a R/ME and will always be as I won't change the secondary any time soon.

My best memory about Ares is when I finally finished the mission at thirsty river.It costed me several weeks.And offcourse when a stranger gave me a Sundering Storm bow of Marksmanship.I still use the bow presently

The name Ares Moonight came from 2 directions.
I wanted a RPG name that sounded like a Ranger(always favoured these)

So i thought of Ares(God of War) and Moonlight as Rangers are very still and lurk around in the dark.

And you..What do you remember?

My first character was a ranger as well. I had a lot of fun with him, got a bear as a pet and played around with beast mastery, but eventually got bored with it (way before factions came out & Tombs got changed) and decided to use the slot to make a Mesmer.
To account for his demise, I made up a story about how his pet bear went into hyperphasia and attacked, killed, and ate him.

I used to be a full time Runescape Player where every charr was called an account.

The story of my first character was rather interesting. You see, I was a W/Mo before it was the popular noob thing to do. Granted, since it was opening day, and I had the name reserved since the Beta, I wanted to do something similar.

Arnold Schwrtznggr still has a reserved spot, and will be used once I get something better than an awful Satellite connection.

Anyhow, I had put Arnold on hiatus when I realized that I saw lots of advertisements for more casters in parties, and a few days later, I created my monk, but it was by playing that monk that I learned to better understand the task of a warrior, so I started playing as him again.

Since every campaign has been released, Arnold has been the first of my characters to complete it, and get the new items associated with it. Starting out in 15k gladiators, which he wore for a long time, he used a customized axe he bought in Droks that served him well until factions. Then he took the arduous task of farming Sskai's Sword, Wing's Axe, and finally trading his amulet of the mists for an Aegis.

After Nightfall came out, Arnold finally sold his favored 15k Gladiators for 15k Primeval, and sports it in a proud blue color, as well as wielding a Forgotten Axe that he also received at endgame.

If I happen to get a decent connection again by the time the next GW game comes out, you can be rest assured that I will be bringing Arnold through it, until the end, doing whatever it takes, well, after Arnold unlocks Razah whenever I get the chance.

It will be a good day when the intrepid SYPR guild sees Arnold back in full force once again.

My first character was also a ranger. Named her Rikers Remedy cause I was trying to be clever and a smart ass at the same time. and I still have her to this day. She got me my first set of 15k (for second char, also a ranger) and I used her for everything SF, UW, FoW etc etc.
I consider the her mother of my account. She got me pretty far in the game in general. So, even though I don't play her anymore I do occasionally farm with her. Brings back memories. Is nice.

My first char was a necromancer Folken Dragonbane. He came from my days of roleplaying on free UO servers. He was always a bad-ass necromancer type wizard guy, evil as hell yet always held a sense of respectability. Had him since pre-release and I just now got 15k armor on him, lol. He got neglected really bad after I came back to the game from a hiatus and made my ranger (who's now sitting on 2 15k sets and 1 10k set, with quite a few weapons and tons of elites). But now that I've pretty much got my ranger maxed out I'm back to working on the necro.

I only have the one account, and my first toon was a Necro. She's my special girl, my original, almost "Me". I have never deleted a toon I've started. They're all special.

With the non-existant knowledge I had of GW when I first started, I chose Blood Necro because it sounded "self sustaining and self sufficient". I also vowed never to play a Warrior or Monk, because they were the two most "over represented" classes.

I now do have a Warrior (only started in NF tho, coz I love the W/D idea), but a monk is still definitely a no-no

My first char evolution, beta to now :

Even if I don't really play with her anymore, she is my favorite character, I could loose everything, except her.

my first is a ranger that I havent played since the first month (7-8 months now)...

I keep her around just to get my b- day present :P

Why wouldn't you change the secondary? You know you can switch back and forth and still keep skills etc...

Why would you not take advantage of different secondary capabilities in different situations?

my warrior, Acherulis Maximus. Got the game cause some online friends of mine said it was pretty good, they dont even play it anymore but i do. Thought of Acherulis Maximus after I got done watching the movie Troy, dont know why I chose that name but I still use the warrior and he brings in the most money to my account with my mesmer which is about 4 months younger then my warrior in close second.

My Warrior was actually my 3rd char, but made on the second day I owned the game. Had 2 monks before him but deleted both because I didnt like to play Monk and have tried making monks since him but each has been deleted and 1 turned into a mule.

first one was a ranger since i feel in love with the spirits. the plan was to play a party buffer with ranger spirits only - fertile, symbiosis, ...
then i played around with secondaries and raised my first stiffy as a necro and i was never the same again!
deleted the ranger and made a necro!
the second comming happened when i got bored of mm-ing and tried out curses.

I like the look of the one in presearing beta fond memories from back then anyway my first was a W/N named Mighty Red.When it came to to play retail after the 27th when I went to play my Warrior being my #1 at the time the name was taken as I was playing with my Monk and getting her started.I made another one called Mighty Redd never felt the same as the old beta one did so no my #1 is my Monk and for which I am glad for as I like my Monk although she did start off as a Mes/R but only lasted overnight and got deleted.

My first character was a Warrior. Annaleahlynn Waevyn. I stole the name and the class from my EQ1 character(whom I still play), Annaleahlynn Waeverynn. Who in turn I stole from a AD&D character by the same name. She was my favorite and still is. I like to pull her out to go AB or PvP every now and then.

My first char is my avatar showing in the left, my Necro-Undead Gun, the idea of the the name came from the game Counter Strike, i used that name while i am playing it, and used it bout 2 or3 years:P. she is still my favorit char, and what makes me happy is every friend of mine call me undead even i am on another char

i like her, and she is the best of the best:P

My first character was a Elementalist named Julius Marcus. I used the name marcus julius in 3 different roleplaying games (2 fantasy and shadowrun). Always the same blonde guy. After that i created a R/Me and then my primary character Valeria (W/Mo) Since i deleted and recreated the ele and ranger she's now my oldest char.
Back then i had a modem no flatrate and the first 2 Weeks i didn't even leave the tutorial

Now feel the urge to buy the old leather armor a gladius and kill some low lvl grawls (good old days when mending still rocked)

Same here, My ranger was the first character I ever made and surprisingly I never rerolled her (cos I do this with alot of chars when new campaigns with new faces/hairstyles come out).

I play her more than any of my other chars, and shes by far my favourite. My Monk was created about 2 months after, which also won't be deleted =)

I deleted my prophecies mesmer in favour of a canthan one, who was 9 months old (before knowing about bday pressies) so I guess My Elementalist is the third in line now.
